$107,000 - $192,835.28

Key Responsibilities:

We are embarking on a transformative journey in Maintenance & Reliability to enhance equipment uptime and minimize lifecycle costs of our assets. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our Asset Management program, where the Senior Manager will spearhead the formulation of maintenance strategies and tackle intricate reliability challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role is based in Modesto, CA, and involves developing maintenance strategies that benefit our operations across various locations.
  • Direct and oversee the analysis of asset failure data, performing root cause investigations to resolve reliability issues and substantiate solutions with empirical evidence.
  • Work closely with Maintenance Planners, Schedulers, and Execution teams to lead initiatives that assess and implement maintenance strategies for asset preservation.
  • Establish the asset hierarchy within SAP.
  • Conduct asset criticality assessments through equipment analysis to prioritize maintenance efforts.
  • Facilitate Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and design the asset maintenance framework.
  • Create and execute preventative maintenance job plans aimed at identifying failure trends through proactive measures.
  • Guide PdM Analysts in deploying suitable predictive maintenance technologies to uncover failure patterns.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Engineers to integrate reliability and maintainability principles into new asset designs.
  • Perform lifecycle cost assessments on equipment and relay findings to key decision-makers.
  • Review and enhance the Preventative Maintenance program and processes as necessary, responding to equipment modifications and business requirements.
  • Address follow-up work requests stemming from site evaluations and quality assessments.
  • Engage senior stakeholders across the organization to align and endorse innovative concepts and methodologies.
  • Independently determine approaches and procedures to achieve objectives.
  • Manage complex operational initiatives involving extensive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure accountability for product quality, food safety, and compliance within the functional area, adjusting processes to meet company standards and customer expectations.
  • Effectively communicate and clarify technical concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • A minimum of years of engineering experience in a food manufacturing environment or similar industry.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of systems, equipment, and processes, along with engineering fundamentals.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
  • Proficient in explaining technical concepts clearly and understandably.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools and the ability to communicate analytical results.
  • Capability to identify safety and quality risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across all organizational levels, collaborating with production planners, maintenance teams, and external contractors.
  • Prior experience with a CMMS or PM tracking system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SAP and/or Super User training.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance principles and certifications.
  • Experience in executing Precision Maintenance practices.
  • CMRP Certification.
