Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $107,000 to $192,835.28.
Key Responsibilities:
We are embarking on a transformative journey in Maintenance & Reliability to enhance equipment availability and minimize the total cost of ownership for our assets. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we design, test, and refine our Asset Management program. Once established, the Senior Manager of Maintenance & Reliability will spearhead the formulation of maintenance strategies aimed at preserving our assets and addressing intricate reliability challenges in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role is based in Modesto, CA, and will involve developing maintenance strategies that benefit our operations across multiple locations.
- Oversee the analysis of asset failure data, performing root cause investigations to resolve reliability issues and validate solutions through data-driven insights.
- Work closely with Maintenance Planners, Schedulers, and Execution teams to lead projects focused on evaluating and implementing effective maintenance strategies.
- Establish the asset hierarchy within SAP.
- Conduct asset criticality assessments through equipment analysis to prioritize maintenance efforts.
- Lead Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and engineer comprehensive maintenance plans for assets.
- Design and implement preventive maintenance job plans aimed at identifying failure trends through human observation.
- Guide PdM Analysts in deploying appropriate predictive maintenance technologies to uncover failure patterns.
- Collaborate with Corporate Engineers to integrate reliability and maintainability principles into new asset designs.
- Perform life cycle cost assessments on equipment and present findings to key decision-makers.
- Review and enhance the Preventative Maintenance program and processes as needed based on equipment modifications and business requirements.
- Address follow-up work requests arising from site audits and quality assessments.
- Engage senior stakeholders across the organization to align and endorse new concepts and practices.
- Independently determine methods and procedures to achieve objectives.
- Manage complex initiatives of operational significance, involving extensive cross-functional teams.
- Quality and Food Safety - Assume overall responsibility for the quality, safety, and legality of finished products within the functional area, ensuring compliance with Del Monte standards and customer expectations.
- Effectively communicate and clarify technical concepts in an accessible manner.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- A minimum of years of engineering experience in a food manufacturing environment or a similar industry.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Comprehensive understanding of systems, equipment, processes, and engineering principles.
- Creative problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and the ability to interpret and convey analytical results.
- Capability to identify safety and quality risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across all organizational levels, particularly with production planners, storeroom, maintenance teams, and external contractors.
- Experience with a CMMS or PM tracking system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SAP and/or Super User training.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance and/or relevant certifications.
- Experience in executing Precision Maintenance.
- CMRP Certification.
