Pharmacy Technician II Role at LifeBridge Health

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician II will perform high-level compounding and dispensing tasks, serve as a resource for pharmacy technicians, and assist pharmacists in providing technical and patient care services to enhance efficiency and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-level compounding and dispensing tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  • Act as a resource for pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist pharmacists in performing technical and patient care functions, such as medication management and patient education.
Requirements:
  • Entry-level knowledge and basic employment skills.
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or High School Certificate.
  • Must have Maryland Pharmacy Technician Certification.
  • National certification (PTCB or ExCPT Certificate).
  • College courses desirable but not mandatory.
  • 3 years of pharmacy experience or currently enrolled as pharmacy/medical school student.
