Key Responsibilities:- Perform high-level compounding and dispensing tasks, including preparing and labeling medications for patient use.
- Assist pharmacists with other technical and patient care functions, such as answering patient questions and resolving medication-related issues.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of the pharmacy by maintaining accurate records, processing prescriptions, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college courses in pharmacy or a related field desirable.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required; Maryland certification preferred.
- 3 years of pharmacy experience or currently enrolled as a pharmacy or medical school student.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy and attention to detail in high-pressure situations.
