Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician II at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe dispensing of medications to our patients. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will perform high-level compounding and dispensing tasks, as well as assist with other technical and patient care functions to enhance the overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-level compounding and dispensing tasks, including preparing and labeling medications for patient use.
  • Assist pharmacists with other technical and patient care functions, such as answering patient questions and resolving medication-related issues.
  • Act as a resource for pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest medication management practices and technologies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college courses in pharmacy or a related field desirable.
  • Must be certified as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Maryland.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting or be currently enrolled in a pharmacy or medical school program.
  • Must be able to successfully complete training related to IV admixture within 3 months of hire.
