Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level compounding and dispensing tasks, including preparing and labeling medications.
- Act as a resource for pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist pharmacists in other technical or patient care functions, such as patient counseling and medication therapy management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have Maryland Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- National certification (PTCB or ExCPT Certificate) preferred.
- 3 years of pharmacy experience or currently enrolled as pharmacy/medical school student.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
