Description: The International Center of Photography is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team as an Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources and organizational development, while contributing to the improvement of our onboarding process.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the redesign of our onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new employees
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop efficient workflows and provide appropriate resources
• Create comprehensive processes and checklists for hiring managers to facilitate the onboarding process
• Design and create all relevant materials required for successful onboarding
• Assist with sending offer letters, launching automated onboarding processes, processing new hire forms, and responding to new hires inquiries

Requirements:
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information
• Intrinsic interest in human resources and organizational development
• Proficiency with technology systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What You'll Learn:
• Research and analysis skills to identify essential information and tools for the onboarding process
• Customization of processes to fit different departmental needs
• Stakeholder management and building solid relationships with infrastructure departments
• Documentation of processes and creation of handy checklists
• Presentation and communication skills to design engaging facility tours and deliver informative talks

Additional Training and Development:
• Comprehensive training on automated systems such as Paylocity and Microsoft 365 tools
• Instruction on internal communication platforms, including SharePoint and other Microsoft 365 applications
• Regular attendance at staff meetings and operational team gatherings to integrate into our organizational culture

Orientation Plan:
• Structured orientation plan with meetings with HR staff members, key infrastructure stakeholders, and departmental leaders
• Orientation to automated onboarding systems and internal communication protocols
