About the Generation PRADA Internship Program
The Generation PRADA Internship Program is a 6-month full-time internship program designed to equip the next generation of fashion industry leaders with professional development opportunities. As a participant, you will rotate across different functions, including business creative, marketing, and operations, and will be paired with a senior leader from a different department who will mentor and guide your experience at Prada.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the Prada Group and its subsidiary brands;
- Develop an understanding of the needs and expectations of the Prada Group and its various stakeholders;
- Be a student of the business by learning about the different departments, the relationship between corporate and retail, and the interplay across different global functions;
- Build an understanding of the market and competitors across categories;
- Gain insights and exposure to cross-functional heads;
- Develop relationships across the Group through one-on-one mentoring support.
Requirements
- Passion for the luxury sector and interest in getting first-hand experience;
- Curiosity and interest in luxury/fashion, art, and design;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Outlook products;
- English is a must and other languages are a plus;
- Availability Monday through Friday from 9:00am–5:30pm EST for a period of 6 months;
- Internship based at NYC Corporate office – office presence is required.
This is a paid internship with a competitive hourly rate of $20.00, and may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities.
