Position: Tableau Architect

Location: Tampa, FL

Position Overview:

  • Over 15 years of experience in providing Business Intelligence solutions with a minimum of 9 years focused on OLTP & OLAP database frameworks (Dimension models).
  • Proficient in Relational Database principles and Flat File processing methodologies.
  • Passionate about engaging in Software Development Lifecycles/Methodologies, particularly Agile.
  • Committed to knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration, capable of communicating all aspects of job requirements, including formal documentation creation.
  • Enjoys working on comprehensive BI Architecture and possesses strong Client Presentation skills.
  • Experience in establishing and promoting BI practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and modern Data Management environments (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) along with Cloud Platforms like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • In-depth expertise in BI technologies, specifically Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience with large-scale BI migration initiatives.
  • Skilled in understanding Tableau architecture and embedded BI implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Required Certification: Tableau - Desktop Certified Associate or Tableau - Desktop Certified Professional.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Principal Architect, you will address complex data management challenges, enabling our clients to become data-driven organizations.
  • Design and implement end-to-end BI architecture tailored to specific customer requirements.
  • Adapt to various roles including Individual Contributor, team member, and Architect as project demands dictate, to define, design, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Establish and recommend standards to optimize performance and efficiency within Data Management ecosystems.
  • Develop and maintain the Data layer for aggregation, validation, and presentation for reporting purposes.
  • Assist in the creation of reports, dashboards, and related database views.
  • Promote best practices in BI to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.
  • Support BI team members with technical expertise and complex systems programming knowledge.
