Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site-specific seismic hazard assessments and ground-response evaluations.
- Utilize numerical modeling techniques through finite-element methods, particularly in PLAXIS.
- Design earth-retaining systems, slope stabilization solutions, remedial grading, landslide mitigation strategies, and foundational structures.
- Execute settlement and liquefaction analyses, along with seismic evaluations.
- Formulate geotechnical recommendations, plans, and specifications for both private and public sector construction projects.
- Assist in field operations, including exploratory logging, oversight of deep foundation construction, shoring, grading activities, and other geotechnically relevant construction tasks.
- Complete fieldwork, analytical tasks, and project administration with guidance from colleagues and leadership.
- Gradually learn and tackle increasingly complex, non-routine assignments under the supervision of senior staff.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of professional experience or relevant internships in the field.
- Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) certification.
- Strong foundation in civil engineering principles and soil mechanics.
- A collaborative team player with a passion for problem-solving in dynamic environments.
- An entrepreneurial mindset coupled with a positive outlook.

Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is required; a Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Experience in numerical modeling, seismic hazard analysis, and GIS is advantageous.
