Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team at Randstad Engineering US. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business growth and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to aid in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process by working closely with department heads to establish financial targets and objectives.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and identify variances, providing insights into the reasons behind discrepancies.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports for senior management, providing key insights and analysis to support decision-making.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Create financial forecasts based on various scenarios and assumptions to evaluate the potential impact of different business decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand their financial needs and provide analytical support.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Assess financial risks and support the development of strategies to mitigate them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Five to seven years of experience in financial analysis and planning.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
