Job Title: Medical Education Coordinator

Penn Medicine is dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients, conducting innovative research, and educating future leaders in the field of medicine. As a Medical Education Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Department Education Programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily education office administrative operations for the GME Programs under the direction of the Department Education Director.
  • Facilitate equipment ordering, trainee reimbursement process, professionally related education expenditures, and division-related invoices.
  • Coordinate functions relating to house staff on-boarding, licensing, orientation, and trainings, rotations, and compliance.
  • Coordinate Graduation and year-end and alumni reporting for Residents and Fellows.
  • Facilitate processes relating to resident recruitment in support of the Recruitment Selection Chair.
  • Set up Conferences, evaluations, and personalized teaching - Residency Programs.
  • Oversee the collection of accurate files on residents, including verifications, learning portfolios, and items for CCC meetings, PEC meetings, and SAR forms.
  • Maintain proficiency in Medical Education databases, ensuring data is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.
  • Generate various reports as requested.
  • Coordinate rotators and observers process for incoming and outgoing to Penn Medicine.
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to GME programs, as directed by the department education director.
Credentials:
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
  • Education Specialization: Business Administration or Healthcare Equivalent Experience: Or 3+ years Administrative (assistant/coordinator), and/or Education or Academics experience.
