Position Overview

The Survey Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and evaluating the work of survey personnel. This role requires not only strong leadership capabilities but also a range of essential responsibilities, including:

  • Ensuring quality assurance and quality control
  • Acting as a resource for complex surveying issues
  • Managing the preparation and delivery of survey drawings, exhibits, and legal descriptions
  • Collaborating with project managers and team members
  • Generating proposals for potential projects
  • Handling monthly client invoicing
  • Traveling locally as required

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying; alternatively, a Surveyor In Training (SIT) certificate or a Professional Survey license may be considered
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional surveying experience
  • Experience with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil3D is advantageous
  • A valid driver's license is required
