As a Senior Land Survey Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading and overseeing all aspects of land surveying projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of land surveying projects, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Conduct field surveys and measurements using a variety of modern surveying equipment, such as total stations and GPS.
  • Prepare maps, diagrams, and reports detailing the results of surveys and ensuring their accuracy.
  • Determine property boundaries and provide advice on boundary issues.
  • Collaborate with civil, architects, construction personnel, and planners to provide surveying information for construction and development projects.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and codes.
  • Stay up to date with new surveying technology and industry developments.
  • Provide advice on property and legal issues related to boundaries and surveying.
  • Resolve discrepancies in survey results.
  • Maintain detailed records of all surveying activities and ensure data integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying or Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the states of OH or WV or IN or KY.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of professional surveying experience, with a strong background in land surveying, cadastral mapping, and survey control.
  • Proficiency or working knowledge in AutoCAD and GIS systems.
  • Good understanding of property law and regulations related to land surveying.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent mathematical skills and proficiency in performing complex calculations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
