About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team at the Utah Transit Authority (UTA). As a key member of our communications and marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy: Create and execute a social media plan that showcases our brand, engages our audience, and drives business results.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Develop high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our target audience, including social media posts, videos, and graphics.
  • Community Management: Foster a positive and inclusive online community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform future content and strategy decisions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, communications, and customer service, to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all channels.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience in social media marketing.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proven experience in social media marketing, including content creation, community management, and analytics. Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
