Our team thrives on enthusiasm and collaboration, creating an engaging atmosphere where we work together to achieve our goals. We have been recognized as a top workplace, offering an extensive benefits package that includes 18 days of paid time off and 9.5 paid holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage existing client accounts while actively pursuing new revenue opportunities for all catering events.
- Focus on identifying and attracting new catering clients through online research, regular offsite sales calls, and organized sales blitzes, along with weekly site tours.
- Engage with local non-profits, charities, corporations, and associations to enhance private event revenue through strategic partnerships.
- Promote merchandise and enhance food and beverage sales related to catering events.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Sales to create and implement quarterly sales and marketing strategies aimed at meeting catering sales targets.
- Represent our hotel at local industry trade shows and association events to boost brand visibility and revenue.
- Build and maintain relationships with local Convention & Visitor's Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, and other key organizations.
- Participate in at least three local bridal showcases and host an annual wedding open house at the hotel.
- Ensure successful events by maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Foster creativity in developing new experiences that enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience in event sales is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and listen attentively.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain composed and effective under pressure.
- A positive, outgoing demeanor with a friendly personality.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a professional appearance.
