Hotel Sales and Marketing Director

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Director to join our team at GF Hotels and Resorts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a revenue management strategy to maximize profitability for our hotel. This includes analyzing market trends to establish pricing, hiring and training a sales team, and creating and implementing marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine market trends to establish pricing that balances costs, competition, and supply and demand
- Hire, train, and motivate a sales team to provide excellent customer service
- Create and implement short and long-term marketing strategies to meet sales team goals and annual sales targets
- Utilize marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, and site visits to continuously seek new business
- Produce accurate sales reports that include marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing strategies
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of full service hotel sales leadership experience
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies and best practices
- High school diploma or GED, and a bachelor's degree in marketing or hospitality preferred
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
