Job Title: Clinical Oncology Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Oncology Nurse to join our team at US Oncology, Inc. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Oncology Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to patients with various types of cancer. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health status and develop comprehensive care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective care coordination
  • Manage patient medication refill requests and document relevant information
  • Facilitate consultations, pre-testing, and diagnostic tests or procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred
  • RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 3-5 years nursing experience, including at least one year in oncology preferred
