  • Drive Organizational Change: Partner with senior leadership to drive organizational change and workforce planning initiatives.

  • Lead and Mentor HR Professionals: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering their growth and development within the organization.
  • Support Collective Bargaining: Support collective bargaining processes and labor negotiations as needed.
  • Stay Up-to-Date on Industry Developments: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, legal developments, and emerging trends in employee relations.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or Labor Relations, with a focus on the automotive or manufacturing industries.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing teams and driving organizational change.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Global Experience: Experience working in a global environment with diverse workforces is a plus.
