Job Summary:
This is a Lateral Transfer List for Coordinator II - CPPW position at the City of Portland. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks and onboarding new employees.
Job Appointment:
Full-time, limited-term position. The appointment shall not exceed one year from the time of hire, except for the extension of grants or funding from outside sources.
Work Schedule:
The Onboarding Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Operations to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees. This includes coordinating logistics, providing training and support, and ensuring compliance with City of Portland policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs for new employees, including training and orientation.
- Collaborate with departmental staff to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and stakeholders.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
