At Mb Solutions Inc, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to take on the role of Systems Engineer - Gateway xLab Technical Integration. In this capacity, you will collaborate with various laboratories, teams, and divisions, playing a crucial role in the enhancement and sustainability of the xLab's capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in laboratory management, process development, and a strategic vision for optimizing lab resources and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate technical integration across multiple laboratories, ensuring seamless management of interfaces for collaborative testing.
  • Oversee lab certification initiatives, aligning them with program objectives and timelines while implementing standardized services and processes.
  • Engage in tracking and reporting on event execution, including URR and TRR, for integrated demonstrations and assessments.
  • Maintain and operate lab environment hardware and software effectively.
  • Coordinate and manage the utilization of facility space and occupancy.
  • Lead the formulation of processes and plans to complete the xLab facility, including lab equipment and IT security protocols.
  • Integrate various aspects of lab management into a cohesive plan to develop and execute a comprehensive schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a customer-focused approach.
  • Manage, update, and uphold configuration management of lab resources, processes, and procedures.
  • Conduct project and resource planning and reporting.
  • Document and maintain detailed Lab Configuration and Operational Requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Requisition Qualifications:

This position is open at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's experience and business needs, we may consider applicants at various levels for this role.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with a related master's degree preferred, along with 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in avionics test lab integration, including facility, IT, and operational aspects.
  • Background in system integration, systems engineering, and ICD development.
  • Experience with technical integration, encompassing both hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of security planning, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with software license management, including tracking and procurement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills complemented by effective troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
  • Able to adapt quickly to new situations and demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to work onsite as required.
