The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in laboratory management, process development, and a strategic vision for the future of lab resources and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate technical integration across multiple laboratories, ensuring seamless collaboration for joint testing initiatives.
  • Oversee lab certification strategies, aligning them with program objectives and timelines while implementing standardized services and procedures.
  • Engage in monitoring and reporting on event execution, including critical reviews for integrated demonstrations and assessments.
  • Manage and maintain the hardware and software environments of the laboratory.
  • Coordinate and optimize facility space usage and occupancy.
  • Lead the formulation of processes and strategies to complete the xLab facility, including lab equipment and IT security frameworks.
  • Integrate various aspects of lab management into a cohesive plan to develop and execute a comprehensive schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Oversee the configuration management of lab resources, processes, and procedures.
  • Conduct project and resource planning, along with detailed reporting.
  • Document and uphold comprehensive Lab Configuration and Operational Requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

This position is open at multiple levels. Depending on the candidate's qualifications and organizational needs, we may consider applicants at various experience levels.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering is required, with a related master's degree preferred, alongside 10-15 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in avionics test lab integration, encompassing facilities, IT, and operational aspects.
  • Expertise in system integration, systems engineering, and Interface Control Document (ICD) development.
  • Experience in technical integration, including both hardware and software components.
  • Knowledge of security planning, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Familiarity with software license management, including tracking and procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with effective troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on collaboration.
  • Able to adapt quickly to new challenges and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
  • Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work onsite as required.
