Director of Membership Development and Engagement

MedChi, the Maryland State Medical Society, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our membership development and engagement efforts. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving membership growth, retention, and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of staff members to develop and implement membership recruitment and retention programs
  • Collaborate with county medical societies to develop regional-focused membership development initiatives
  • Manage the deployment of MedChi's annual dues billing and prospect mailing processes
  • Oversee the selection and deployment of a new association management software system
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive membership database management strategy
  • Support MedChi's Membership Committee by planning virtual meetings, taking minutes, and managing projects
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Supervisory experience in association management or customer relationship software
  • Strong organizational, writing, and design skills
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
