Position Summary:
Vivint is on the lookout for a Senior Product Strategy Manager to become a key member of its camera and video product division.

In this role, you will be tasked with shaping a strategic vision for future experience-driven services that will enhance Vivint's premium offerings, including cameras.

As these premium services represent a new venture for Vivint, this prominent position offers a significant opportunity for you to establish the vision, formulate a comprehensive strategy, and create a substantial impact for both customers and the business.

Moreover, you will take complete ownership of enhancing and expanding Vivint's Playback DVR service, which provides customers with continuous recording and timeline access.

You will collaborate closely with design, engineering, product marketing, and various cross-functional teams to drive essential KPIs related to customer satisfaction and business growth.


Key Responsibilities:


• Foster a culture centered around the "customer-first" approach in addressing user and business challenges, demonstrating success in delivering experiential products.
• Develop a robust vision and product strategy for our new experience-driven services platform.

• Oversee all aspects of the product—from vision and strategy to annual roadmaps and execution of set objectives.


• Collaborate with other departments to ensure product opportunities are valuable to customers, feasible for the business, user-friendly, and technically viable.

• Create clear and concise product documentation to secure buy-in and investment for development.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, program managers, and QA, to ensure high-quality delivery aligned with the product roadmap.

• Build and maintain relationships across Vivint at various levels, from product managers to executives.

• Monitor product performance and proactively identify areas for enhancement.

• Identify opportunities for customer testing and drive execution while measuring and reporting outcomes.

• Partner with the GTM team to prepare operations, marketing, sales, supply chain, and support channels for product launches.

• Pursue knowledge of products and industry trends, identifying opportunities and becoming a subject matter expert on designated offerings.

• Experience in developing, launching, and analyzing customer research initiatives.

• Proven capability to manage multiple priorities and products simultaneously.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills across various organizational levels and departments, both written and verbal.

• Mentor and develop product managers throughout the organization.

• Decisive and able to articulate and defend your decisions clearly.

Required Qualifications:
• Relevant experience in defining and delivering multiple consumer software products and services.

• Deep commitment to addressing customer challenges and understanding consumer needs.

• Experience managing subscription-based consumer software products with a user base exceeding 1 million weekly active users.

• Proficient in the technical aspects of software development.

• Comfortable creating structure from ambiguous challenges and collaborating with others to achieve shared objectives.

• Quick learner with a proactive approach.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
This position operates within a professional office setting. The role typically utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
