Nurse Care Specialist

About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse at Mount Sinai Health System, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide safe, competent, and quality care to a designated group of patients. This will involve conducting thorough nursing assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health management
Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care activities, including rounding, counseling, and discharge planning
Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care and professional practice

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent
Current registration in New York State as a Registered Nurse
Minimum 1 year RN telemetry Med/Surg experience in a hospital setting
BCLS/ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
Certification and EKG skills required

Compensation Statement:
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $52.2236 - $58.8854 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
