About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facilities to join our team at Cirrus Aircraft. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our facilities, including budgeting, planning, and maintenance across all our campus locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement long-range planning initiatives to support future growth and needs
  • Lead and manage the building and mechanical maintenance teams, responsible for equipment installation, facility equipment repair, preventive maintenance, and custodial and groundskeeping
  • Manage vendor and building maintenance contractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring delivery of services
  • Inspect plant and evaluate use of space and facilities, scheduling and managing routine maintenance on all building systems
  • Analyze HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting, and other factors to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop long-range plans, conceptual designs, capital outlay requirements, and documentation for campus facilities
  • Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications
  • Oversee the coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication services
  • Plan utilization of space and facilities consistent with requirements of organizational efficiency and available facilities and funds
  • Ensure all safety standards and policies are met, conducting regular observations for safety and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in facilities management. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 12 years of experience in facilities management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 7 years of recent experience in leadership of people and projects of all sizes is also required.

The successful candidate will possess strong computer skills, including project management and PM scheduling within Asset Essential Facilities software. They will also have the ability to demonstrate sound judgment and practical communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage stress and complete work demands and multiple projects simultaneously.
