Hospitality Operations Coordinator

The Housekeeping Supervisor role at the Hampton Inn Western Ave is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and quality of our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise Room Attendants and Operation Associates on a floor or designated area to ensure all rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
- Assess inventory, assign rooms for cleaning, and inspect rooms to verify their status and report any discrepancies.
- Monitor work schedules, lost and found programs, stock rooms, and carts to maintain efficiency and organization.
- Communicate and coordinate with Engineering to ensure efficient maintenance and repair of items related to guest rooms and public areas.
- Perform Room Attendant and/or Operation Associate duties as needed to support the team.
- Assist in performance evaluations of Room Attendants and Operation Associates as needed.
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- A high school education or equivalent experience.
- One to two years of employment-related experience, preferably in housekeeping or a similar field.
- Working knowledge of housekeeping principles and practices.
- Supervisory skills and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, and guests.
