Hospitality Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospitality Operations Coordinator to join our team at SGA Talent in Albany, NY. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or custodial roles and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position requiring 20-40 hours per week, with an estimated salary of $30,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Hospitality Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency of our facilities.
Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized environment throughout the premises.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials according to established procedures.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, events, and company functions.
- Monitor and restock supplies in various areas, including restrooms and breakrooms.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department.
- Assist in basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor repairs.
- Support facility security by ensuring all doors and windows are properly secured at the end of each workday.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or related roles preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Good communication skills and cooperative attitude.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
