Nighttime Hospitality Service Specialist

Job Description: As a Front Desk Overnight Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of guest service activities while providing the highest level of service possible. This includes greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests, answering telephone calls, posting charges, computing bills, collecting payments, and making change for guests. You will also be responsible for making and confirming reservations, monitoring room availability, blocking rooms as necessary, programming wake-up calls, and handling guest mail and messages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests by greeting, registering, and assigning rooms, answering telephone calls, and responding to guest inquiries.
- Post charges, compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
- Making and confirming reservations, monitoring room availability, and blocking rooms as necessary.
- Programming wake-up calls and handling guest mail and messages.
- Opening and closing shifts, making cash drops as necessary, and maintaining market stock and coffee areas.
- Finalizing transactions completed during the day and processing credit card transactions.
- Preparing and printing folios for departing guests.
- Creating, printing, filing, and transmitting required reports.
- Compiling daily sales figures and completing daily reports.
- Ensuring hotel PMS system is in balance with the reservations system and correcting any discrepancies.
- Providing guests with information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- 1-3 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- BASIC computer and administrative skills.
- Availability to work an overnight schedule and maintain a valid driver's license from the state where you reside.
