Compensation: Base Salary Range: $88,000 - $95,000, with additional commission opportunities based on performance.

The Senior Sales Account Executive for Exposition is tasked with employing a strategic, value-oriented sales methodology to engage with current exhibitors, sponsors, and potential clients for AVIXA's premier trade show. This role is pivotal in nurturing strong relationships that balance revenue generation with exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the main liaison for clients within designated territories, ensuring they derive maximum value from our events through a strategic sales approach.
- Proactively seek new exhibitors and sponsors by researching and engaging with high-level prospects to generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance client retention, renewals, and satisfaction by aligning client objectives with our offerings.
- Utilize CRM tools effectively for data management, activity tracking, and pipeline oversight.
- Employ sales-enhancing platforms to optimize efficiency and visibility throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to develop tailored value propositions for clients.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and act as a strategic partner to clients, exceeding their expectations.
- Prepare and present impactful client presentations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the pro-AV industry and AVIXA's offerings to effectively address client needs.
- Assist the Senior Director of Sales in preparing for meetings and client interactions.
- Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities within existing accounts and through market research.
- Promote AVIXA enterprise memberships to clients to support membership growth initiatives.
- Follow established sales processes and provide feedback for process improvements.
- Participate in industry events and client meetings to network and promote the value of our offerings.
- Dynamic personality with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative approach.

- Proficient in Salesforce and familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in Business Management, Hospitality, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, particularly in trade shows and sponsorships.
- Experience managing accounts generating significant revenue and understanding the events sales process.
- Preferred experience in the pro AV industry, including digital signage and collaboration technologies.
- Familiarity with floor plan management software and CRM systems.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment while aligning with organizational values.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Willingness to travel as required.
