Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Business Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing improvement plans for the overall operation, assisting the Team Leader's direction, and establishing operational procedures for verification of inbound and outbound shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement improvement plans for the overall operation to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist the Team Leader in providing direction and guidance to team members.
  • Establish and maintain operational procedures for verification of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with HQ, RHQ, Team members, and Site Managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor, test, and report on the effectiveness of cycle counting, Physical Inventory, and other operational metrics.
  • Produce various reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to brief team leaders.
  • Ensure direct reports maintain SOP training and/or review at least twice a year.
  • Initiate, develop, and implement continuous warehouse improvements within distribution/return/rebox functions.
  • Work with all levels of Management as a key information provider for Distribution metrics.
  • Prepare for Peak Season Operations and identify customer/market trends, requirements, and operation issues.
  • Gather and identify various operation status and performance metrics.
  • Support developing and implementing solutions to meet requirements, solve issues, and improve operation performance.
  • Support warehouse operation set-up and project management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering/Business or Logistics from a four-year college or university.
  • 3+ years of experience in Logistics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to write reports with key points, 5w1h, and rational by own research.
  • Ability to multitask with several key projects and customers.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage and work directly with customers.
  • Problem solver mindset, self-motivated, and organized.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure and fast-paced operations.
  • Strong work ethic and standard clerical office practices and procedures.
