ROLE SUMMARY

The Logistics Operations Coordinator is responsible for verifying and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure accuracy of shipping documents.
  • Manage all inbound and outbound shipments as vehicles arrive and leave the facility.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Lead to coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation for customer orders, including tracking requests, expediting orders when needed, and updating inventory records.
  • Complete shipping and receiving tally sheets.
  • Organize documentation in designated areas.
  • Schedule appointments for shipping and receiving.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and warehouse staff regarding inventory and account status.
  • Prepare lot stickers for incoming shipments as required.
  • Affix lot stickers to received pallets as necessary.
  • Timely update the Dock Management System (DMS).
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and standards related to the handling and storage of goods.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Basic literacy, writing, and math skills are essential.
  • Strong urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
