Position Overview

  • Develop and execute strategies for enhancing overall operational efficiency.
  • Support the directives of the Team Leader.
  • Formulate operational protocols for the verification of incoming and outgoing shipments across various regions.
  • Collaborate with headquarters, regional headquarters, team members, and site managers.
  • Oversee, evaluate, diagnose, and report on the effectiveness of inventory management processes on a regular basis.
  • Generate diverse reports and analytics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to inform team leaders.
  • Ensure that direct reports undergo SOP training and reviews at least biannually.
  • Initiate, develop, and execute ongoing enhancements within warehouse operations, including distribution, returns, and reboxing.
  • Act as a key information resource for management regarding distribution metrics.
  • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze forecasts, simulations, and productivity metrics.
  • Prepare for peak operational seasons.
  • Identify customer and market trends, requirements, and operational challenges.
  • Collect and assess various operational statuses and performance metrics.
  • Assist in developing and implementing solutions to meet operational requirements and improve performance.
  • Support warehouse operational setup.
  • Contribute to project management efforts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, or Logistics from an accredited institution is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics is required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in various computer applications.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce reports highlighting key points, utilizing the 5W1H method based on independent research.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to engage directly with clients.
  • Problem-solving mindset, self-motivated, and well-organized.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with standard clerical office practices and procedures relevant to this role.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them efficiently.
  • Proficient in summarizing data and information into concise documents.
