Job Overview

As a Construction Administrator with Charlan Brock & Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a representative of the company, overseeing the construction process and ensuring consistency with project documents.

You will collaborate with the project team, respond to questions, and work towards the completion of the built product. Your focus will be on visiting project sites, determining if work is proceeding in accordance with drawings and specifications, and producing field observation reports.

You will also review contractor submittals, respond to Requests For Information (RFI's), and collaborate with the project design team. Additionally, you will review and execute Certificates for Payment, participate in Owner Architect Contractor Meetings, and perform building inspections.

To be successful in this role, you will need a high level of knowledge of construction systems and techniques, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex information in a concise manner. You will also need to be proactive, engaging with the construction team to address day-to-day problems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Visiting project sites and determining if work is proceeding in accordance with drawings and specifications
  • Producing field observation reports
  • Reviewing contractor submittals and responding to Requests For Information (RFI's)
  • Collaborating with the project design team
  • Reviewing and executing Certificates for Payment
  • Participating in Owner Architect Contractor Meetings
  • Performing building inspections
