Role Summary

The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy. Key Responsibilities

  • Investor Modeling and Strategic Planning: Design and maintain detailed investor models and long-term plans to accurately project financial outcomes and support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaboration with Business Leaders: Partner with heads of various business lines to gather and analyze financial data, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Engagement with Executive Management: Collaborate with corporate executives to develop and oversee operational budgets, providing insights to enhance resource allocation and profitability.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct monthly assessments comparing actual financial results to budgeted figures, identifying variances and recommending necessary adjustments.
  • Re-forecasting Initiatives: Lead the quarterly re-forecasting efforts for long-term plans, incorporating updated business assumptions and market trends.
  • Advanced Excel and Financial Modeling: Utilize advanced Excel skills and complex financial modeling techniques to support data analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Cohort Analysis: Apply expertise in cohort-level modeling to evaluate customer segments and product performance, offering insights to enhance growth and resource allocation.
  • 3-Statement Financial Modeling: Create comprehensive 3-statement financial models to analyze the impact of various scenarios on the company's financial health.
  • Investment Banking and Private Equity Insight: Draw on previous experience in investment banking and private equity to provide a strategic viewpoint on financial evaluations and investment opportunities.
