Are you a seasoned Accounting Manager with a strong background in ADP systems? Talent Software Services is looking for a qualified professional to join our client’s team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee essential accounting functions related to revenue, ensuring precise financial reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with various departments, including Financial Systems, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Data Team, and Accounts Receivables to guarantee timely and accurate financial disclosures.
  • Lead the revenue accounting close process on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis while managing daily revenue accounting operations.
  • Ensure adherence to revenue accounting policies, procedures, and SOX controls through meticulous examination of journal entries, account reconciliations, key controls, and flux analysis.
  • Play a pivotal role in the quarterly and annual review and audit processes, managing essential deliverables for both internal and external auditors.
  • Conduct research on complex revenue transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment and document key conclusions in compliance with ASC 606.
  • Evaluate potential business changes for their impact on compliance objectives related to SOX in your areas of responsibility.
  • Identify and implement process and system enhancements aimed at reducing closing times while improving team efficiency and scalability.
  • Supervise a team of payroll accountants handling payroll-related accounting duties across multiple regions, including the US, Canada, and Europe.
  • Review various compensation and benefits-related journal entries and prepare payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with payroll operations, Business System Engineers, and ADP Global View to stabilize the recently implemented global payroll system.
  • Work alongside the payroll operations team, FP&A, and ADP to resolve non-reconciling items and analyze monthly activities.
  • Engage with internal and external auditors and the SOX team for payroll accounting control assessments and audit testing.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all payroll files and uphold robust internal controls.
  • Substantiate financial transactions through document audits.
  • Enhance accounting controls by proposing and developing policies and procedures.
  • Conduct monthly variance analyses for payroll-related expenses to ensure consistency and identify anomalies.
  • Assist in the monthly closing process while adhering to established deadlines.
  • Exhibit effective and transparent communication skills.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
