Job Title: Assistant to the Loan Officer

Join Summit Funding as an Assistant to the Loan Officer and play a pivotal role in helping our Loan Officers grow their business and make borrowers' dreams of homeownership a reality.

This exciting opportunity is perfect for an outgoing, organized, and detail-oriented individual who is interested in starting a career in mortgage and finance. As an Assistant to the Loan Officer, you will provide administrative and marketing support, manage calendars, monitor communication, source leads, and assist with marketing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Loan Officer's calendar and ensure they stay on schedule and on task.
  • Monitor and manage communication on behalf of the Loan Officer as needed.
  • Source and follow up with leads, schedule appointments with borrowers and referral partners, and prepare potential borrowers for meetings.
  • Send thank you correspondence to borrowers and referral partners on behalf of the Loan Officer.
  • Assist with marketing responsibilities, including managing the Loan Officer's database of referral partners, initiating and executing marketing campaigns, and collaborating with the Loan Officer to come up with new ideas.
  • Manage and update social media sites and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate events with clients, referral partners, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Represent the Loan Officer's Team in a professional, outgoing, and upbeat manner.
  • Assist with putting together the Loan Application and completed file to help borrowers get their loan closed and purchase their home.
Requirements:
  • Recent professional office work experience preferred, with customer service experience highly desired.
  • MS Office skills and excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills, world-class customer service skills, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work well independently, and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work a full-time standard 40-hour work week, plus potential overtime as necessary.
  • Stable work history and a high school diploma or equivalent.
