Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Loan Support Specialist to join our team at Summit Funding. As an Assistant to the Loan Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our business and helping borrowers achieve their dream of homeownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calendar Management: Manage the Loan Officer's calendar, ensuring they stay on schedule and on task.
  • Communication Support: Monitor and manage communication on behalf of the Loan Officer as needed.
  • Lead Generation: Source and follow up with leads, schedule and confirm appointments with borrowers and referral partners.
  • Pre-Appointment Preparation: Prepare potential borrowers before they meet with the Loan Officer.
  • Client Correspondence: Send thank you correspondence to borrowers and referral partners on behalf of the Loan Officer.
  • Marketing Support: Assist the Loan Officer with marketing responsibilities, including managing their database of referral partners and initiating marketing campaigns.
  • Creative Marketing: Collaborate with the Loan Officer to develop new, creative, and unique marketing ideas.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and update social media sites and marketing campaigns.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate Happy Hour, Lunch and Learn, and other events with clients, referral partners, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Team Representation: Represent and be the face of the Loan Officer's Team in a professional, outgoing, and upbeat manner.
  • Loan Application Support: Assist the Loan Officer with preparing the Loan Application and completed file for borrowers.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: Recent professional office work experience preferred, customer service experience highly desired. Mortgage/finance experience a plus.
  • Technical Skills: MS Office skills.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills. Professional verbal and written communication skills. World-class customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team. Must be able to work a full-time standard 40-hour work week, plus potential overtime as necessary in our professional office.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
