Job Summary:

The role involves recruiting graduate students for programs within the College of Business (CoB). This includes developing a corporate network, ensuring effective communication with prospective students, and actively engaging in recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with College of Business recruiting staff and program advisors to market and promote graduate programs to various stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate communication with prospects from initial inquiry to enrollment.
  • Continuously update knowledge of programs to ensure accurate information dissemination.
  • Establish and nurture a network of corporate contacts.
  • Manage prospect data and maintain student information using CRM systems.
  • Monitor reports related to graduate recruitment and admissions.
  • Contribute to effective communication strategies to inform potential students and their influencers.
  • Participate in all graduate recruitment activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in business or a related field from an AACSB accredited institution, along with two years of professional experience in:
    • Account Management
    • Business Development
    • Consultative Sales
  • Two years of experience in relationship sales or key account customer service.
  • Strong interest in higher education, particularly in graduate business education.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A specialized master's degree in a business discipline from an AACSB accredited institution.
  • Five years of experience in higher education student recruitment or equivalent experience in advising or professional sales.
  • Familiarity with master's programs and experience in graduate education from an AACSB accredited institution.
  • Understanding of the student recruitment process and university databases.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with potential students and corporate partners.
  • Ability to source prospective students through various channels.
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/database management.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of higher education and student affairs issues.
