Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced AP/AR Clerk to join our team at Snelling in Birmingham. As an AP/AR Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining vendor databases, resolving discrepancies, checking and approving vouchers, and preparing accounts payable checks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of vendor information and communications.
  • Process invoices and credits, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Communicate effectively with purchasing and receiving departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review financial reports to ensure accuracy.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in AP/AR.
  • Wholesale or retail distribution experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Prelude Accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

The estimated salary for this position is $19.00-$21.00/hour, based on industry standards and location.
