This pivotal leadership position requires you to take charge of the technology, upkeep, processes, and settings for the equipment on the production line.

Your Contributions:

You will:

  • Collaborate with line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets—Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale—ensuring process stability.
  • Oversee the technology and process settings for the equipment, demonstrating profound technical mastery; manage the Progressive Maintenance systems and associated KPIs for the lines, including the Repairs & Maintenance budget.
  • Develop and implement preventive and time-based maintenance systems, empowering your team to execute these plans independently; invest significant time in enhancing the technical and maintenance skills of technicians, enabling them to operate and maintain their equipment effectively.
  • Work alongside the Asset and Reliability team to enhance systems and execute specialized maintenance tasks; manage Change Management processes, spare localization, and conduct thorough breakdown analyses to reduce R&M costs.
  • Support new initiatives and assist the line leader in benchmarking and reapplication efforts; serve as a subject matter expert in a specific component category and provide training on PM-related topics.

What You Bring:

Experience in manufacturing, particularly in process improvement, maintenance, and line leadership roles.

  • Qualified in the I2M / IIM Process and AM Step 3.
  • Proficient in leading and influencing individuals at various organizational levels.
  • Familiar with key pillars such as IIM, AM, and PM.
  • A strong desire to advance your career and drive your future.

Demonstrated operational and manufacturing leadership experience in the food industry, with expertise in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), 5S, and Integrated Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, alongside proven coaching and leadership abilities in a collaborative environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and team-building skills, complemented by financial acumen, project management expertise, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.

Education / Certifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field within the food industry.

Job Specific Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in maintenance management within food manufacturing or related sectors.
  • Proficient in preventive maintenance practices.
  • Experience in unionized labor environments is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with HPO methodologies and/or lean six sigma is highly desirable.

Schedule:
Standard workweek, with potential weekend overtime as required.
