Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Oncology Nurse in a charge role to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will work alongside experienced healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, administer medications, and develop individualized plans of care
  • Leadership: Assume charge responsibilities, lead teams, and make decisions in emergency situations
  • Communication: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with patients and families, and document patient information
  • Education: Participate in ongoing education and training, share knowledge with colleagues, and stay up-to-date on best practices

Requirements

  • Nursing Degree: Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Licensure: Current Oregon Registered Nurse License and National Provider BLS certification
  • Experience: At least one year of nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
