We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MRG Exams, where you will play a critical role in performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About the Role

In this position, you will review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then electronically document the exam findings required by the VA through the web portal.

Please note that as a Nurse Practitioner in this role, you will not be making disability determinations; rather, your responsibilities will focus solely on performing Disability Assessments on Veterans. This position does not involve treating patients or prescribing medication.

You can expect to perform an average of 3-5 Disability Assessments per day, working Monday through Friday (8am-4pm). This is an in-person position, providing you with a stable and predictable schedule.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions
  • Skilled in time management and able to stay on task to meet requirements
  • Holds a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
  • Proficiently uses a computer
