Nurse Specialist in Medical Surgical Care

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Float Pool Nurse at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that offers extensive training, collaboration with a diverse team, and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment. The role includes a competitive pay range of $48.32 - $66.65 per hour, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Job DescriptionThe Float Pool Nurse will provide high-quality patient-centered care across various medical units, including Medical A, Medical B, Medical C, Cardiology A, Cardiology B, Surgical, Orthopedics, Neurovascular, Oncology, and Clinical Decision Unit. This role involves rotating shifts, including day shifts (7am-7:30pm) and weekends. We offer 4-6 weeks of preceptorship with an established Float Pool RN, ensuring a smooth transition into the role.
The successful candidate will have 1 year of nursing experience and a strong foundation in medical surgical care. They will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver world-class care to patients.
