Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Nurse Navigator RN to serve as a consistent resource throughout the continuum of cancer care. This role will involve triaging the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their families, providing education and support to empower them to participate in their care process, and improving understanding of treatment plans and decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Triage patient needs and provide interventions or referrals as necessary
  • Offer information and education to reduce stress related to cancer diagnosis
  • Empower patients to participate in their personal care process
  • Improve understanding of treatment plans and decisions

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in oncology nursing and excellent communication skills. You should also possess a professional demeanor, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
