Electrical Field Service Specialist

The Associate Field Service Engineer provides after-sales support for Hipotronics equipment, promoting and growing our service business. This includes remote assistance and occasional onsite installation, maintenance, repair, and training of high-voltage test systems. Additionally, this position requires assisting with testing and in-house repair and calibration in our Reading, PA factory.
A Day in the LifeAs a key member of our team, you will contribute to various tasks on any given day, including:
- Supporting customers via phone and email, understanding their requirements, and resolving issues
- Performing final tests required to ensure that equipment operates as stipulated in engineering specifications, making adjustments necessary, and preparing written reports
- Performing final tests on new systems and existing equipment onsite and generating corresponding test and calibration documentation sent to customers
To excel in this role, you must have:
- 2-year degree in a technical field or electrical/electronic technology with 3-4 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and calibrating analog and digital control metering circuits or BSEE with 1-2 years of experience
- Proficiency in reading schematics, handheld tools, and test instruments
- Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers
- Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
