Job Summary

As a Radiology Technologist in our Orthopedics Imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your expertise will be essential in operating radiologic equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging results
  • Follow established safety protocols and procedures
  • Instruct patients on procedures and provide clear instructions
  • Examine radiologic film for quality and accuracy
  • Develop and process radiologic film
  • Deliver images to requesting physicians for interpretation
  • Maintain a clean and organized x-ray exam room
  • Stock and manage medical and radiological supplies
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
  • Disseminate x-ray reports and images to requesting physicians
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • SCRQSA license and ARRT certification
  • One year of physician practice experience preferred
