Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Orthopedic Upper Extremity practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage patient registration, pre-certification, and charge capture processes
  • Process payments and balance accounts
  • Assist with outpatient coding and error resolution
  • Coordinate patient appointments and surgeries
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • No previous experience required
  • Associate's degree in a technical specialty program preferred
  • Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding preferred

Work Environment

This role will work in a multi-specialty group practice setting, providing administrative support to the Orthopedic Upper Extremity practice.
