Job Summary

As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing MRI scans as directed by radiologists, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. Your excellent communication skills will be essential in interacting with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical: Screen patients and others prior to admittance into the MRI scanning room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are MRI-compatible. Emphasize patient safety practices and identify patients and procedures accurately.
  • Customer Service: Employ principles of AIDET, communicate effectively with patients, and explain MRI procedures. Obtain completed questionnaires and pertinent clinical history from patients and physicians.
  • Administrative: Acquire requisitions, validate clinical charges, and complete EPIC exam activities. Operate the PACS system, verify studies, and report equipment problems to management.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree with completion of an accredited radiology program
  • 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience, with MRI enrollment preferred
  • Required certifications: MRI Technologist Certified, ARRT Radiological Technologist, SCRSQA
