Global Accounting Consolidation Lead

Sonoco seeks a seasoned accounting professional to lead the global consolidation process and oversee the preparation of complex financial statements, including derivatives and cash flows. As a key member of our finance team, you will serve as a liaison with the Company's SEC team and assist with the review of 10-Q/10-K filings.

This strategic role involves managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including the submission of financial information and reporting schedules from business units. You will review consolidated rollforwards, accrual analyses, and other consolidation procedures for completeness and accuracy, providing coaching to staff and senior accountants as needed.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of finance experience, with 3+ years in a corporate accounting role, and advanced knowledge of financial accounting and reporting. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, with a CPA certification, is preferred. Strong systems skills, including proficiency in OneStream, Oracle Finance, and Microsoft Office products, are also essential.

We offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including an annual base salary range of $131,920.00 to $148,410.00, plus an annual target bonus percentage of base salary. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan with company match, and wellbeing tools and resources.
